Chapter 01

Business & Analytics

Understanding customers, analyzing data, and turning information into business decisions.

Where data meets decision-making.

My career in analytics grew out of a foundation in marketing. I learned early that the most effective marketing isn't about intuition alone — it's about understanding what the data is telling you and having the discipline to act on it.

Working in the Food & Beverage industry gave me a grounded, real-world context for analytics work. The questions weren't abstract — they were about real customers, real purchasing behavior, and real business outcomes. That environment sharpened my ability to move quickly from raw data to actionable insight.

Over time I developed a working approach that I've carried across every role: start with the business question, not the data. Find the story the numbers are telling. Communicate it clearly to the people who need to act on it.

My Approach

01

Start with the question

Every analysis begins with a clear business question. Data without context is noise.

02

Find the story

Numbers don't speak for themselves. The work is in finding the pattern, the outlier, the insight that changes how someone thinks.

03

Make it usable

An insight that can't be acted on isn't useful. I focus on translating findings into clear recommendations.
